George Barnett (b. Dec. 9, 1859, Lancaster, Wisconsin-d. April 27, 1930, Washington, D.C.), major general in the U.S. Marine Corps, graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1881 and was transferred to the Marine Corps.
